Description
Tekbox TBOH01 LISN
Ideal for EMC pre-compliance testing to CISPR 25 – The TEKBOX TBOH01 is a 5µH DC LISN (Line Impedance Stabilisation Network) for the measurement of conducted emissions, across the range 150kHz to 110MHz, from DC powered devices.
The LISN is inserted into the supply line of the DUT (Device Under Test). Conducted noise which is present at the supply terminals of the DUT can be measured at the BNC connector using a spectrum analyser or a measurement receiver. The source (supply) terminal and the DUT terminal are decoupled by a 5µH inductor.
- Frequency Range: 100kHz to 110MHz (1GHz see figure)
- DC Resistance: 35mΩ
- Maximum Current: 10A
- Maximum Source Voltage: 60V
For use up to 60V DC maximum only. First line suppressor included and Telonic always recommends you source your own additional protection suited for your particular application. (As in all EMC tests, make sure you measure your worst case transients before connecting any analyser to your LISN and have to hand easy-add-on attenuators and conducted emissions EMC transient limiter protectors, as is good practice with any sensitive modern spectrum analysers or receivers).

Ideal development tool
I’ve yet to operate the LISN, but it is simple and ideal for many of the products that I develop. I have used a mains Lisn in the bast for DC supplied devices, not ideal and much larger, this should be more convenient and relatively low cost.
