Rigol MSO2302A-S Digital Oscilloscope

The Rigol MSO2302A-S is a 300MHz, 2GSa/s, 2CH digital oscilloscope with built-in logic analyser and waveform generator offers a lower noise floor (vertical scale down to 500μV/div), selectable 50Ω input impedance and record/playback/analysis all as standard. Other standard features include a waveform capture rate up to 50,000wfms/s and a 8″ WVGA display with 256 intensity level grading. The MSO2302A-S enables engineers to capture lengthy signal streams whilst retaining outstanding t-axis resolution.

    Great service – Product looks promising.
    Early review.

    The service from Telonic was very good, I was quite surprised I got the item as soon as I did, with everything in the world right now.

    I’ve experimented with the signal generator to get a look around the system functions. It seems to do a lot and provides a loads of information on the waveform etc.

    Looks in perfect condition, enough weight to plant it on a shelf without fear of it moving when you use controls or attach a probe, although I may just attach a safety tether to protect it from me !

    I have not used the logic analyser yet, but hopefully it will be ok.

    I would have preferred a printed manual to get acquainted with my new scope. However, I do have a PDF now sent by Telonic.

    So, in summary I think its a nice unit at a great price when you compare it with other manufacturers, time will tell, so far so good !
