A sensibly priced capable scope
The Rigol DS2102E 100MHz Digital Oscilloscope is a dual channel 100Mhz digital storage scope. Features include an 800×400 WVGA display, automatic and advanced triggering options, 500uV to 10V vertical scaling, selectable 50 ohm input impedance, 1Gs/s on both channels and waveform capture of up to 50,000 wfms/s. It is a very capable oscilloscope and more than adequate for many applications. It looks and feels like a good quality instrument when you unpack it and has a very good price/performance balance. I spent a good few days looking at a number of different scopes from several different manufacturers. I am glad I chose the Rigol.

Just beginning
This is the first DSO that I’ve used and required an Oscilloscope that wouldn’t go out of date straight away. so far it’s been a great experience. I’m really looking forward to seeing what I can do on this machine. Playtime begins.
