Rigol DG4102 Function Generator

The DG4102 is a 100MHz, 2CH Function Generator with a maximum sampling rate of 500MSa/s. Rigol’s award winning waveform generator, the DG4000 series is part of a new family of fast, easy-to-use, ultra-modern test instruments. The DG4000 is a multifunctional generator that helps accomplish a range of testing by combining many functions into one instrument. Functions include Function Generation, Arbitrary Waveform Generation, Pulse Generation, Harmonic Generation, and Analogue / Digital Modulation and Counting. The DG4000 utilises Direct Digital Synthesiser (DDS) technology, which delivers stable, precise, low distortion signals. The sleek new design features a high resolution display screen, while user-friendly interface design and panel layout improves efficiency.

    Use of the DG4102
    Hi All,

    I currently own a DSA815, DS1104Z,DG1022 and I’ve just bought the DG4102 dual oscillator/generator. Wow!, what a machine, it’s typical Rigol, easy to use and it delivers what it is intended to do at relative low cost.

    I’m currently exploring the development of a shortwave communication receiver(synthesized/MCU control) whereby it’s very useful to have the DG4102 at your side, particularly with it’s extensive modulation facilities. The DG4102 output amplitude goes down to 2mV pkpk so that means I can check the sensitivity of my receiver in the 1 uV r.m.s region with a 60dB attenuator with modulation.
    It can also modulate with DSSC, double side band suppressed carrier, very useful for future designs.

    Shopping experience at Rigol.co.uk, was very efficient, my new toy arrived precisely in the middle of its allocated 1 hour time slot, so well done Rigol. I like your stuff.
